Recently works have been happening at the W.L.J. Crofts Reserve to create a new Pavilion for the local community. The new pavilion is a great hub for Altona North Cricket Club, Western Jets Football Club, Williamstown Superules Football Club and Agility Dog Club of Victoria.
The modern facility is a welcomed additional to the reserve. Part of a larger project encompassing a $10.7 million redevelopment that includes drainage, irrigation and new LED floodlighting on ovals 2 and 3, four synthetic cricket practice nets, and a new car park to service the increased capacity of the new facilities. Additionally, upgrades to the landscaping and play space facilities are marked as stage 2.
Having been recognised as a key project in 2018, it’s exciting to see the facility come to fruition. Offering great amenities for the community to enjoy their favourite sports year round.
